FaceTime Saves Woman’s Life

Opokua Kwapong lives alone in a New York residence. She FaceTimed her sister, and she noticed that her speech began to slur and her face began to droop. Kwapong thought her sister was joking around, but she wasn’t. Kwapong ended up calling 911 and was transferred to the nearest hospital. Once there, the doctors discovered that she had a clot in her brain, which paralyzed her left side. After Kwapong’s recovery, she said without FaceTime, her blockage would’ve gotten worse.

FaceTime saved her life because there were no other people around to notice the issue. Her sister on FaceTime was her only witness.
